Photo Shoot

Training today was a little different in that the entire session was captured by the amazing eye and camera of Lee Archer.

I had booked a shoot with Lee a few months back -my goal being to have him shoot an actual training session.

Different to what I had done in the past I did not want anything posed.

In keeping with my goals at the present I wanted to show hard work and the muscle shown is while doing the hard work.

In-fact I only struck one arm pose at the end as my forearms looked freaky.

The rest of the shoot I wore a vest, track pants and plenty of chalk.

Jo did the shoot with me and the same goals applied, just train and Lee did the rest.

I think the whole shoot/session took under an hour.

We shifted some good iron – Jo 55kg Rack Shoulder Press -myself 77.5 – for sets of 5

Close Grip Rack Press again Jo in the 55’s – me low 80’s.

We just did our session we should have done Tuesday and loved it.

After the photos I did for my 50th I knew I could grow and still be really lean. Having not trained in a vest since last October I could see a huge change in size and fullness.

The condition was around the same without any thought given to a look– it was there.

I could kick myself sometimes- after all those years of stressing before shows.

The look now is better without any thought given to it – all I did was just crack on with training and just ate basic.

I must say Jo looked real good –strong, full, healthy, in-fact Lee commented on her strength several times.

The photos will be used for this site and for my new book early next year.

Dino Bodyweight Day tomorrow and I hope Lou my son will film that for you guys.

Have an awesome day – love ya all Ian

HI IAN, LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT BOOK. HOW RIGHT YOU ARE, THERE ARE SO MANY CONFUSED PEOPLE OUT THERE AND SO MUCH MISINFORMATION MAKING THEM MORE CONFUSED. WE NEED THIS KIND OF HONEST CLEAR INFORMATION AND NOT JUST FOR THE OLDIES BUT FOR ANYONE WHO CARES TO LISTEN SO THEY CAN AVOID A LOT OF WASTED TIME. AS FOR ME I MAY BE AN OLD DOG BUT I AM ALWAYS READY TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW OR AT LEAST ADD REFINEMENT TO WHAT I KNOW.
    THANKS, PETER.
